Harriet Marsden is a freelance journalist and editor specialising in social affairs and politics. Previously a sub-editor at The Times, she now writes and edits for a variety of publications including The Independent, Guardian and HuffPost. She contributed eight chapters to DK’s The Feminism Book and regularly provides feminist comment pieces. She can often be heard on BBC Radio London at stupid o’clock in the morning dishing about the news, or seen gently mocking politicians on Twitter.
