Disturbing-yet-too-intriguing-not-to-read facts about what’s living in, crawling on, and attacking the human body
Tapeworms grow up to 150 feet in the small intestine. Bot fly larvae burrow under the skin and feed on human flesh. Every square inch of the human body is covered with over 50 million microscopic organisms. The Very Hungry Parasite is chock-full of these stomach-churning facts along with eye-popping trivia and repulsively humorous stories. Looking as cute and cuddly as a kid’s book, its pages burst with colorful illustrations, and content that is as dark and disturbing as the critter-infested cavities of eww, ick, and yuck, facts and a perfect addition to any bathroom.
